Taller - Contemporary Venezuelan craftmanship

Taller - Contemporary Venezuelan craftmanship

In June 2017 I visited this venezuelan gem in Copenhagen. Taller means workshop in Venezuelan, and the entire restaurant truly showcases a great craftsmanship. From the furniture and plates, to the food itself.

Despite being a food nerd myself, many ingredients were unknown for me. Well, the whole venezuelan cuisine was quite unknown for me. Upon some quick googling, it’s apparently influenced by its European West African and Native American traditions. But at Taller, they we’re interpreted quite differently.

The team passionately presented each dish and the story behind it. And I must say, the dishes were one of the more beautiful ones I’ve had. Check out the videos further down the post to hear them describe some of the servings.
